The 21st Century approach to education is no longer confined to books alone, but Wide embraces real – life experiences to evolve in the progressive society. Wider exposure leads to versatile learning experiences. With this perspective, I have always initiated novel methodologies and innovative techniques to draw the best out of the young minds.
As my students maintain their academic graph, they never fail to contribute to the wide spectrum of sports, culture & sociological domain. This year an exciting sports week comprising of inter class matches brought out the robust, competitive spirit of the students to the zenith. It is a mark of pride as our school’s Boys Football Team bagged 2nd position at the Girl’s Team is selected for the football National Championship.
“Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all !,, The Founders Day is thus a week- long celebration dedicated to specially productive activities, This year students created awareness through road safety rallies Wall-painting with social messages for the civilians and by organizing cleanliness drives. On the occasion of Vachan prerana Divas, a book Fair was arranged in the school, to cultivate passion for reading among the student community and elders as well!
Renowned Nutritionist and Diabetologist, Dr. Nitin Patankar interacted with the students clearing their misconceptions about eating patterns and dietary habits.
This session was truly an eye opener for adolescents as they had many takeaways from this three hour long session, similarly, I felt Abacus would help students to improve their concentration, retention and stability; hence it was introduced this year for the entire primary section and was unanimously welcomed by the parents at large. The parents of Laxmibai School are always the staunchest supporters of every new idea. Our active primary parents posed as “Navadurga“ during the “Nine goddesses“ the powerhouse of Strength, Wisdom, Bravery, Sacrifice and so on.
The foundation is strengthened every year, as I have a qualified team of creative teachers. Prepare the students by providing them a wide gateway for a promising future! I always remind my colleagues and students, when we think “Not now“, success becomes “NEVER“ But if we develop the attitude of “ Why not now? Success will always be “yours“!
