'KIDS BAZAAR' on occasion of Children's Day - Primary section
On Thursday,November 14,students of Sou Laxmibai English Medium school,Primary Section STD IV were open for Business as they presented themselves as Sellers at KID BAZAAR organised by the school on the occasion of Children’s Day.The objective of the event was to provide the students with real world experience,where they will not only learn to market & sell products but also learn consumer service skills, planning & co-ordination skills & the value of a hard earned money.”It was a good opportunity for the school children to learn marketing skills,” said Mr. Prasad Kulkarni, President of the school.28 stalls were put up which included stationary items, vegetables, snacks counter, novelty,pulses etc. GameZone was also the part of this event.”We helped our mothers in preparing the dishes.I went to the market to buy the vegetables” were some of the responses of the super excited sellers.”KIDSBAZAAR was a unique opportunity for our children to learn to be creative & learn what it means to be business minded while having fun” said Mrs. Vrushali Bhuvad, a parent.Primary Co ordinator Mrs. Pooja Kulkarni’s idea of giving āout-of-classroomā experience ,allowed students to apply what they had learned from textbooks and understand how business is run in the real market.Ā This event was a huge success. Students carried loads of joy and radiant smiles on their SPECIAL day , as they were successful entrepreneurs to be in future !!!
EVS Fun club Std IV - Rangoli and paper lantern making workshop
Ahead of the auspicious festival of Diwali ,students of Sou. Laxmibai English Medium School,Primary Section Std 4th were involved in the Rangoli and paper lantern making workshop under EVS FUN CLUB (Parivartan).Primary co-ordinator Mrs. Pooja Kulkarni guided the entire activity.The aim behind conducting the activity was to encourage students to celebrate festival in an innovative way.Miss Chitra demonstrated the art of doing intricate SANSKAR BHARTI Rangoli & Paper Lantern designs.All the teachers happily put their hand at work and children merrily gave expert vibrant touch to their rangolis and lantern .The whole activity was fun-filled and the festive mood was kicked off.
